They first met each other at an usual place where most of us will hang out chit chat & yamcha, that place is call the “Mamak” stall. The love sparks started there, and the 2nd meeting got them started together until today. Their love journey is indeed a love story that must be shared with everyone of us.

According to both of them during their love story interviewed session, couple should be able to give ways to each other no matter what situation; couple should practice the concept of “give & take” in every situation. That, will lead them to eternal love.I love it when Lawrence mentioned about “Endurance”, it also meant Forever & Ever love.

We changed a little concept in this highlights by shifting the story to the beginning, and actual day highlights to the back because their story must come first; love that brought them together.

On the wedding actual day, I filmed Missha in the hotel while she was doing her preparation; Jon make his way to Derek’s house. I was told by Jon, it wasn’t easy to look for the house, as it’s almost near Kajang, but thank God Jon manage to found it.

Jon met up with Derek & Missha before their wedding actual day for discussion; as I couldn’t make it that time. It was my first time meeting up with them on their big day. Just within half an hour or so, I’ve clicked with Missha, she’s a very cute & fun person to film & talk to.

When we were recording their love story, I thought it will be some touching & tears drop scene and I’ve started to visualize on the highlights editing part; but who knows, both of them had a funny memories of their first met, and their journey was indeed a love story to be shared. All story boards in my visuals started to shifts!

The filming process is still in our memories; it was so fun talking to them and seeing them answering the questions asked by us; I can see the smiles & love shown through their faces.. Hahaha….

The event took place between Kepong and Kuala Lumpur. Though the event is simple but it is simply touching. We believe the interview sessions between the groom and bride sharing their love story touches many hearts out there during the wedding dinner. Blessed marriage ahead!

Wedding Reception & Ceremony : Park Royal Bukit Ferringhi Penang

Both Ashwin & Mindy are truly a great couple to be filmed. They flew back to Penang Island Malaysia for their traditional wedding ceremony, witnessed by Mindy’s family members.
Ashwin family members & friends flew in from the US, Australia and India to join the traditional ceremony in Malaysia as well.

Both Ashwin & Mindy have been together for 7 years; and through the simple love story recorded during the actual day, it tells the deep love of both them towards each other; pure love that will never be faded away.

We filmed the actual day ceremony, rushed back to hotel for same day edits highlights; continue shooting for garden ceremony which happens 2 hours before the wedding reception, and yes, we made it for the preview of cinema highlights during the dinner at 9:30pm.

Every guests were shocked to see garden ceremony which recorded at 6pm, were present to them at 9:30pm. It was truly God’s strength and wisdom that enable us to do this. All glory be to God.

Ball flower – requested by client for the bridesmaid… Beautiful & lovely

Personally, I would say that it’s not an easy job being a florist provider. There are many items that needs to be prepared before hand; while I only join during the actual day for setting up and deco at hotel area. There were many little items and things done by Aunt Sally herself during night – midnight.

Example: The above ball flower was done by Aunt Sally before we join in in the morning. Means, she prepared ready during the night before the actual day.

One of the design I like the most, it’s really beautiful!

Beside being creative as a bridal florist, there were many details that must be taken care off too. When we were decorating the arch; I thought it will be an easy job, but it’s not as colors combinations must match, how many flowers of each designs must be put on to match the arch and so on.

Once we have done with the wedding arch, we head back to Aunt Sally’s place for corsages & hand bouquet for the bridesmaid & bride.

I did not help out during the corsages session, Aunt Sally & Annie did. While they were busy doing corsages, I went to sleep after taken Vitamin due to sinus; when I woke up…. the corsages were ready!

After finishing with corsages, the making of hand bouquet was started. It was formed by many combination of colors, it was awesome & pretty. The end result of the bouquet is as follow.

Overall, it was a very tired 1 day session with wedding & bridal florist, Aunt Sally. I learnt a lot – specially making flowers, color combination, do & don’t of making a flower.

A memorable birthday celebration with family members taken in Kampar, Ipoh. Many relatives actually flew back from various countries, including United Kingdom (UK) and others.

As you can see through the video, Mr Lim is a very happy man. He loves to hang around with friends & relatives, cheers with his glass and have fun with others.

Once again, Happy Birthday 80th to Mr Lim.

The journey took about 2 hours from Malacca to Pontian and it was my first time being there. Congratulations again brother!
